Welcome to TAFTSVILLE CHAPEL MENNONITE FELLOWSHIP.  We are a community of followers of Jesus Christ, seeking to know and to proclaim the Good News!

Taftsville Fellowship is a lively congregation with about 60 active members.  We gather from all over the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire, some traveling from as much as an hour away.  We meet in an old schoolhouse on Happy Valley Road in Taftsville, Vermont, where the bell ringing in the belfry still calls us together on Sunday mornings.  Our worship service is friendly, casual and family-oriented, and we love to sing, whether in traditional Mennonite a capella four-part harmony, or with our small praise and worship band.

As a fellowship, we are committed to know one-another, bear each other’s burdens, and worship and grow in faith together.  You are welcome to come and spend some time with us.  We would love to meet you!

Holy Week and Easter Observance –

The congregation of Taftsville Chapel invite you to join us for the observance of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter Sunday and related events during Holy Week.

We will gather for worship at our normal time of 9:30am on Palm Sunday (March 25).

We will hold our final, Lenten “common prayer” on Wednesday (March 28) at both 8am and noon.

We will gather for a special observance of Communion and reflection on the death of Christ on the evening of Maundy Thursday (March 29) at 7pm.

On Easter Sunday we will gather at the chapel at 7am for our traditional “Resurrection Walk” in which we carry a large, wooden cross up the nearby hill with reflections and hymn-singing along the way. Then, soon after, we will have our Easter Breakfast Potluck at 8am; where we share breakfast one another. Our Easter service will begin at 9:30am.

All are welcome to join us for this celebration of the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior!
