During this season of transition without a pastor, we are working at reflection and discernment to prepare us to begin the search for a new pastor. In the meantime, the Leadership structure at Taftsville is comprised of the Church Council, the Transition Team, the Worship Team and the Congregational Care Team.

The Church Council meets regularly for the Administrative functioning of the church. The council considers financial matters, and issues related to the programs of the church.

The Transition Team meets regularly to assist the congregation in moving forward during this time of pastoral transition. This team, working with guidance from Franconia Conference, considers areas for congregational focus, healing and discernment, and has the task of selecting an intentional interim pastor.

The Worship Team meets regularly, working together to plan the Sunday morning schedule. This team arranges for speakers and worship leaders, and plans for worship seasons such as Advent and Easter.

The Congregational Care Team meets regularly, working together for discernment in considering pastoral and practical needs of individuals within the congregation. This team functions much like Deacons would in some churches.
