Hello Ted and Eli,
It is nice to hear you were able to get a few of your tools back; especially that plumb bob!! I spoke on stewardship on the 20th and while we understand that it is all God's..... it is still difficult to not get attached to it all!! I actually shared your experience with the gang at CCF! We have all been praying for you guys!! I was in a singing group years ago and we learned that when our set up was difficult and practice went terrible, we knew it was going to be a powerful concert because the evil one was trying hard to get us frustrated. I've learned the same in my ministry! Your friend's advice from years before is sooo wise. But as you said, it is hard to remember when you are going through it!
God's grace as you continue to serve and know that there are 90 some of us back here in PA, praying for you! Look forward to following along here on your blog!
Peace,
Kyle Buckwalter

Hi Toby,
I just checked out this site today for the first time! It looks great.

However, one problem. I'm using Explorer with my normal size setting, and the navigation boxes (fonts) are too small to read!

Thanks for being the one to get this going...

Toby,

I don't know if anyone has responded to you, but a few have to me. Several from church said that they enjoy going into this site to see the newsletter in color. Also, someone mentioned to me that a few visitors came to worship with us due to this being on the web. I believe the visitor we had today may have come after seeing our worship times and place of worship. They were looking for the closest Mennonite church to them in Brattleboro, Vermont.

I would like to see this continue for reasons concerning the newsletter. When I first started the newsletter, almost 4 years ago, I used to send out between 20 and 30 hard copies to folks that wanted a copy. Now I only send out 10-12 because the others just look it up on the web. I wish they would respond to you. Also, several members at church have mentioned to me that the newsletter is in color on the web and they like that, even though we still print it in black and white. Perhaps we could cut back some more on the number we print if people would prefer that.

I would also like to see this site used more by our congregation. I think we need a meeting explaining how we could make good use of this for many other informational, educational, communications, etc.

I'd like to see it continue and expanded...
